Need help rooting SGH-T889V (Wind Mobile)

I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly how to root my phone since apparently the Wind Mobile version is different than others (due to their different SIM cards and whatnot). I managed to root my phone last night and got SuperUser (after a second attempt), but I don't have ClockWorks installed so I haven't been able to back my phone up yet, and on top of that, I don't seem to be able to make phone calls. It dials out fine, but I don't hear anything. I got a voicemail this morning and that was just 14 seconds of silence. I don't know if I'm actually making a call and I just can't hear them on my end, but I'm pretty lost as to what to do. Can anyone tell me if they know how to properly root THAT specific phone so I don't mess it up again, and how I can fix this. Thanks.
