Turn off screen timeout completely?

Is there a way to turn off the screen timeout completely, especially in Driving Mode?

I'm using an app called No Screen Lock

I like how it adds a notification icon in the notification bar so I can disable it when I no longer need my screen to stay on.
Works fine on my Note 2, and I'm not rooted. There are other apps that do the same.

You could also download an app such as CarHome Ultra. It will leave your screen on and has the added benefit of easy icons when driving.

Not sure of your settings, but my screen never turns off during navigation.
It will dim the screen while idle, but I can still see it. There are settings within the Navigation app itself if you do not want the screen to dim.
