Whatsapp notifications

Hi there, Moved from an S3 to the note and a week later loving everything about it. Completely in love with it especially the epic battery life! One small issue I seem to be getting, I only ever get told about 80% of my whatsapp messages. Sometimes I will open the app and then a bunch of messages will pop up at once. This only happens once or twice a day, But it being a main messaging app that I use it is quite vital for me to be notified when I've got a new message, especially at work when the phone sits in my pocket, I rely on it going off without having to open the app.

Any one else get this? Any thing I could do to prevent it happening? Using an Exynos UK version on o2 network. Thanks.

I'm using an US version (T-Mobile) so that might make a difference (although it shouldn't) but I'm not seeing that on mine. I get notified every time I get a message from individual contacts or groups.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app?
