More User-friendly Encrypted Phone Lock-Screen

I encrypted my Note 4, and this restricted the lock-screen to the secure password unlock only.
Here is the functionality I want:

• On cold boot the phone should ask for the secure password (it does that currently);
• The lock screen should have any option of user choosing (such as pin, or thumbprint, or any other available unlocking paradigm), with a configurable number of wrong attempts;
• When the threshold of wrong attempts is reached, the lock screen should then switch to the secure password unlock mode.
