Why am I unable to get my Galaxy Note 4 to work on Consumer Cellular?

Help! Galaxy Note 4 + Consumer Cellular for Birthday!

Almost the best birthday ever, Dad got me an unlocked T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but I CANNNT make it work on Consumer Cellular. Dad won't let me switch to T-Mobile because his AARP discount works on Consumer Cellular, but the lady on the phone at Consumer Cellular couldn't give me the settings that would work.

I mean I found people that posted there settings for the Galaxy Note 3 (with things like proxy.cingular.com) and hack workarounds but I am wontering if you would all please give me the GOOD settings that will work awesomely with my Galaxy Note 4.

My phone is on the page "other networks" where you type in APN, Proxy, Port, MMS proxy and all that stuff. Its setting here on my desk and I'll post my question now and I hope someone answers.

i'm sorry I'm so dumb I can't get it to work and I don't want to go to school tomorrow with it NOT working.

Are you getting voice and text? If not, it's not connecting to Consumer Cellular (you need their SIM in the phone), so no settings will help.

(For MEI, he means IMEI)

1) Insert SIM from Consumer Cellular
2) Get to dial pad and enter *#06#, (star, pound,06, pound). This will give you your phone's MEI #.
3) Call Consumer Cellular at 888 345 5510. Give them the MEI number.
4) Find your Settings icon on the phone.
5) Turn off your Wi-Fi.
6) Turn on your Mobile Networks.
7) Press on Mobile Networks.
8) Press Access Point Names
9) You are going to have to create another APN profile. Start by pressing the + sign with a circle, (top).
10) Name: CC LTE
11) APN: ccdata
12) Proxy: Not set
13) Port: Not set
14) Username: Not set
15) Password: Not set
16) Server: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
17) MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
18) MMS Proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
19) MMS port: 80
20) MCC: 310
21) NMC: 410
22) Authentication type: PAP
23) APN type: default,mms,supl
24) APN protocol: Ipv4
25) Bearer: Unspecified
26) MVNO type: None

The one problem you may be facing is that if the TMobile phone doesn't have the data bands AT&T is using where you are, you'll have data problems. (Although the phone is supposed to have Band 17, which seems to be what AT&T uses all over. You can run LTE Discovery to see what's happening. The LTE band is the first thing listed on the left.)

Yes, they are in the US. They advertise on TV quite a bit, and I know Sears and Target are retailers that carry their phones. They offer no contract plans, but state that they are not a prepaid service. AARP members receive a 5% discount on service and usage charges.
