my note 4 seems to be stuck in a bootloop, ive read somewhere about booting it up in safe mode but i cant access it because it won't stay on that long. i plugged the charger in and guess what, it came on and works fine! but when i take the charger out it will turn itself off after around 5 mins and then will enter the bootloopa again. i have since done a factory restore which was only possible due to it being on charge. could this be simply due to a faulty battery? or is it a motherboard failure? i have tried wiping the cache removing the battery sim card etc.
any help would be great!

Since you said it worked long enough to do a factory restore, I would take it into a store for whatever carrier you have. They might have a battery you can try for free to see if that's your issue.

Thanks, ive ordered a new battery which should come wednesday so i'll swap them around to see of it is a battery issue. If all else fails it looks like i will go instore to see what the issue is.
