WiFi to Data Switching

My wife and I both have Note 4's. When we are in a non-WiFi area my phone will not switch to Data, here's works fine.

I have all the same settings that she has. Tried restarting.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Having the Same problem. If iam under WiFi it wont auto switch the data when iam off. Have to toggle airplane mode

Is this specific to messaging? My wife recently had a problem with her Note 4 not turning data on and off for MMS when on wifi. I suspect there could be multiple causes for this, but I was able to get this corrected for her by going to apps>all in the settings menu and clearing the caches for the Messages and MmsService apps and force stopping them. I also cleared data for the Messages app.

I hate being on wifi out of my house due to connecting to lousy signals. I was always turning wifi off manually to get a better signal. I use tasker to poll my cell tower location and automatically turn wifi on and off when im out of the house.
