Anyone have a heads up on any possible Skyrocket deals after XMAS? I'm looking to make the leap over from my iPhone 4 and I'm holding out until after XMAS to see if any deals come up. If anyone has any inside info please share :)

You can get it online for $149 with contract or upgrade.
But the website might know where you live because when I spoke with the AT&T guy in a store near me he said that in the areas where 4G LTE network is being rolled out they offer same deal (249-$100) instantly and its displayed right next to the phone in the store. What they are doing is they are pulling out Galaxy S2s in those areas and pushing the Skyrockets.

Here is a screenie from AT&T's website

I'm getting mine on Tuesday next week from the mall near me for that price :)

Got mine for .01 during the Amazon BF sale... It was a new activation since I switched from Verizon... best deal ever... Amazon is even supposed to credit the activation fee... Check out Amazon wireless... they usually have the best deals...

everywhere ive seen its 150, u can goto BB and have them price match it down

Depends on a where you live. If you go into a corporate store in the Dallas area, it will cost $250 (if you have a Dallas area zip, it will also show as $250 online).

I upgraded in a corp store in Dallas for $250 (where I live) and told them that a friend of mine upgraded in a corp store in Austin (one of the areas where it is $150) for $150 and they told me that corporate stores cannot sell it for less than $250. I emailed AT&T Customer Service as well, and they stated that the person I spoke with at the corporate store was correct and corp stores were not allowed to sell it for less than $250.

So yesterday, when my wife and I were on our way back from San Antonio, we stopped in Austin to see her Dad for a bit. While we were there, I called an Austin corp store and they told me it would be $150 to upgrade to the SR. I then stopped in a different Austin area corp store and took the pics below.

So, it is clear that AT&T corporate stores can sell, and ARE selling, the SR for less than $250.

If you want a refurb go to the ATT online store. If it's an upgrade you get it for $19.99 but the supply is limited. Also be advised that depending on where you live (I'm in CA) they will charge sales tax on the FULL NO CONTRACT price ($550) on top of the activation ($36). When I ran the numbers it ended up being $100 which only $36 LESS than getting a NEW one at Amazon with FULL warranty. Just doesn't make sense to me to get a refurb that only has a 90 day warranty with such small savings. Your call!
