Is my Galaxy S4 water damaged phone dead?

[AC Question]

Galaxy s4 water damage

so the other day my s4 got liquid damaged while drunk so drunk me tried turning it on and didn't catch the signs of water damage until it was too late. the next day I opened it up and took 91% alcohol to the connectors and whatnot hoping that I could salvage it and it didn't fix it so if I replaced the motherboard would it save the rest of the phone?

Welcome to Android Central! The problem is that you won't really know if other components were damaged by the moisture, like the screen, the charging port, etc.
