how do I stop an automatic app update that's stuck at 81?

When I turned on wi fi, my galaxy 4 updated many apps and when I left the wi fi area "downloading English" is stuck at 81%. I turned phone off and took battery out and when phone starts back up is still downloading at 81%. Help please!
