Album covers in my Gallery

I had to reset my S5 and after doing so, I have 300+ music album covers in my picture gallery. If I delete one, it also deletes the song from Poweramp. Obviously I don't need/want album covers in my pic gallery. How/where do I move them and keep the songs in Poweramp???

I don't know if there is a more elegant solution to this problem, but if all of the album covers are in the same folder, you can create a file called .nomedia in that folder, and the pictures will not show in the gallery. There may be a way to create this file on the phone itself, but the way I did it was to save a blank document called .nomedia in Notepad on my computer, delete the ".txt" at the end from the file name that Notepad creates, and transfer it to the appropriate folder on my phone.
