I hate the way the S5 numbers pictures and videos

I hate the way the S5 numbers pictures and videos. It goes something like this: 20140727_122314 and so on. Is there a way to change that or do I have to suffer through it?

Download a file manager. I use ES File Explorer. You can change it from there.

All great suggestions but I'm with the OP on this. Is there a way to change the default file name for when you take photos, like you could on the S3? It would certainly make life easier for me when for example taking holiday photos that they could all be called holiday2014 followed by a sequence number rather than having to manually rename all of them.

This is how it shows on my note 3. go Into the camera then camera settings and it should be in one of those that's labeled "contextual file name"

As you have already stated that setting is on your Note 3 which is same as the S3. Unfortunately Samsung on the S5 have changed the settings for the camera on the S5. These are the only options I get on mine. (I'm with EE in the UK)

My wife and i now have the same phone so need to be able to change the contexual filename to upload our photos onto the NAS without it thinking there are duplicates. If anyone has worked this out please please let us know
