S5 draining super fast

Sorry I've managed to post this in Q&A before getting an account :/

Over the last week my S5 has been draining really fast - Ive just charged it back to 100% today (from 5pm-9pm) and in the last hour it's already gone down to 50% and it says I have approx 2 hours left, WHAT??

Ive uninstalled a ton of apps which I dont need but its not helped, the only thing I can think thats changed is I updated to Lollipop??

Tried unmounting then mounting my SD card and that hasnt helped either. Really don't know what to do anymore

A friend had basically the same problem, I did this. First I pulled the battery while the phone was on. Then I reinserted the battery held down volume up power button and home button at the same time went into recovery and cleared the cache it fixed his phone up battery life wise. Try it

Thanks ! I think that might have fixed it..we shall see over the next few days
