Why does my samsung galaxy s5 have a message that says Unfortunately, Phone Has Stopped

what does this mean, whenever I power it on it says this on the homescreen, I click ok, and the message keeps popping up no matter how many time I click on it.

I don't know why it happens - a corrupt file perhaps - but to try to fix it, try a general cache clear. Go to Settings, Storage, Cached Data, and clear the cache. Then Power Off and Restart the phone.
If no go, get back to us.

I have the same problem after the new update today. tried clearing cache but problem didn't go away
