So I just factory reset my phone due to issues with the lollipop udate, and the factory reset resolved them. The other day I went to unlock the phone, and the numbers on the unlock screen were all little white squares, weird I thought, so I reset the phone. It went to restart, got to the galaxy s5 screen and restarted again and again never getting past the gs5 screen. Tried to boot it into recovery, but same issue. I ended up just leaving it rebooting, and about 20 mins later it finally came on. 2 days ago the squares showed up again so I rebooted, and same thing. Any insight would be awesome. Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! The square character thing is a relatively common complaint, and usually resolves after a reboot or a cache partition wipe. The fact that you had the reboot loop is concerning for a more serious underlying issue. If you haven't already, make sure you backup or sync all of your important data, just in case the phone fails completely.

Next, do a cache partition wipe: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10683
