Why isn't the volume down button on my volume rocker working for my Galaxy S5?

It happened suddenly and I didn't drop the phone or anything. Any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! It's probably faulty. Does it persist after a reboot? If so, then contact Samsung for warranty service (or if it's no longer under warranty, then bring it to a local repair shop).
