Worth pre-ordering with Verizon

I am super excited for this phone as I am eligible for an upgrade; however, I see that the 128gb phones won't ship until April 15th. Shouldn't the stores have the 128gb models on the release date of April 10th? If so I don't have a problem going to a store to get the phone earlier.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 128gb versions would be delayed in store too, and might even be a online or telesales item only

I was having trouble with processing my upgrade online today, so I called in to telesales.

They said that they are showing a 4/17 release for the 128GB models. When I spoke to them at 8AM Eastern they said that their system was showing a ship date of 5/1 for the 64GB Black GS6 edge.

I just ordered the black 64gb Edge with a new contract (Verizon). Ship BY date is 4/10/15 on all the paperwork.

Yeah, concerned with that as well. Hopefully it's just them covering themselves and it will be delivered on that date. Either way, I have received conflicting information between Verizon and Best Buy and have to decide which I'm going with as I have a preorder in with each.

From what I saw any 128GB was 4/17, and any gold was 5/1. Everything else was 4/10.

The gold one was on a limited supply from the start, so for the ones who got lucky and order right after 12:01 am, got the 4/15 ship date, and the one's who order after the limit was reach, got the new ship date 5/1/15.
