Why aren't my recents keys working on my Galaxy S6 Edge?

Hello,

I've recently upgraded to the S6 from the S4 and absolutely love it.

One thing is driving me crazy - after about one day, the recents key started not working. When I hit the key, the multi-window taskbar does not pop up. Nothing happens. The capactive light still works.

I've tried multiple factory resets, with no luck.

Any help would me much appreciated. Thanks!

Does multi window work when you hold it down for a few seconds? Also multi window doesn't work with every app.

No, it doesn't work when I hold the button down or tap the button.

The multi-window is not launching from the home screen, or with any other app open.

Have you found a solution for this? Same thing has happened to me. I did a factory reset which solved the problem but then the issue started up again after a few days. I'm hoping there's a fix to avoid having to factory reset every time.
