Widget Sizes on third party launchers

Hey all.
Had my s6 for a couple of months now and adore the thing but I have a gripe. I've been trying out some third party launchers for the advanced customisability but for reason the widgets that I like to use (Shuttle, Beyondpod, Google) just don't look right on any other launcher other than TW. They look squashed and too big for the screen, I've included pictures, the first is TW (the way I want it to look, the second is Nova). I've tried resizing the grids of the homescreen but it doesn't work. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated as I've been dying to use some other launchers but I really like my widgets! Thanks in advance

Try long pressing the widget and you should see the a yellow/orange box around the widget. May try adjusting it to shrink it down some by using the corners.

You could also try changing the desktop grid (more rows) and the height padding.

Just a quick update on this; nothing solves this problem! Widgets on all third party apps do not resize properly! It always looks like the screen is too small to fit and that the widget font and buttons always stay the same size so that the get squashed together on screen. I am dying for a solution to this problem though non seem to be forth coming. Please help if you can!
