Did you do the sequence in post 14 exactly as stated, specifically
Connect phone to pc
Press power, volume down and home
Open Odin and press volume up
Odin should display "added"

yes because this is the only way I can connect through odin. There is no other way.

OK download Samsung Smart Switch to your pc, run the program, select emergency firmware recovery and follow the instructions. Let me know what happens

Sorry for late reply, only managed to get the s/n after cracking open the s6. It says something like " an error has occured while updating the device. Please use emergency recovery" I also did that, my device did not show up.

I am now at a loss as to why this went so badly wrong. I can only suggest you take it to a local repair shop as Knox has been tripped. This is frustrating as you have done all of the correct things.
I'm sorry I haven't been able to help, especially with a Samsung.
