I have a Galaxy S6 and today I let it do a system update to 6.0.1 because it prompted me. My device was encrypted and required my four digit pin to load up. After the update it no longer required the pin and loads directy in Android. Along with that the encrypt/decrypt is gone in system settings. Does anyone know anything about this? And how to get the phone to prompt for pin code when the phone is turned on or rebooted?

Moved to the S6 forum, since this is more likely to be device-specific, rather than a general Marshmallow issue.

you should have decrypted before the update. go to settings and search for encrypt device but if you need a pin lock you can set one up without encryption. just search for screen lock type in settings
