Dead screen

So while I was playing a game the s7 edge screen distorted and was green on the right side then it just shut off. The button lights still turn on and sound works. Luckily AT&T is sending me a replacement. Anyone else have this happen? Any chance I'll be able to at least temporarily get it working to get my data or if not erase it?

Hi,

You can try powering if off, if possible....then try entering recovery, wipe cache partition (no data loss). And see if a reboot from there works. Doubtful, but worth a try.

Well the screen works a little in recovery, but unfortunately yeah no where else. Even after wiping the cache. Thanks for the idea though.
