Using Meguiar's Ultimate Compound for scratched screen?

One of my friends new S7 Edge's screen got scratched (you can feel the scratch when you run your nail through it) and he's asked me if I can help.

Has anyone used Meguiar's Ultimate Compound to repair such scratches? It works wonders on my car but I couldn't find anything online about anyone using it for a scratched screen.

I don't want to end up scratching the screen more than it already is.

If you can feel the scratch it will not work.
Any kind of a compound will leave scratches you can see.
