Can't sign into Google Play, etc.

I have a new Samsung Galaxy S7 and cannot sign into Google Play, etc. I have changed my password to no avail. I keep receiving the error message that my password is incorrect. I can sign into my Google email, Play, etc. on my computer but not on my phone. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you actually able to boot the phone up and do other things like use the browser? Or does it ask you to enter your Google account and password first after powering on?
