You can get a launcher replacement and they can remve the drawer for something else. Stock though you can't remove it

I k ow what you mean about wanting to get rid of it. But in the end helps achieve a minimalist look on the home screen if you prefer that.

I'm transitioning from the iPhone 6 ad I don't like all the junk on the phone. Do you know any launchers I could use?

- go to settings
- choose 'advanced features'
- choose 'Galaxy Labs'
- turn the 'show all apps on home screen' on

I went to settings then advanced features and scrolled through but there's no "Galaxy Labs"
Do you have a US carrier version of the phone? I see it on my unlocked European model (before screenshot has a different colour scheme because I have a theme installed):

Doesn't removing the app launcher actually add more junk? With the app launcher, you can just put your most used apps and widgets on the homescreen, and have everything else hidden in the drawer.

Android has several types of apps that you open only once to setup and almost never open again, so I wouldn't want that cluttering the homescreen, let it rest in peace inside the app drawer (because I don't want it complete hidden either just in case I want to adjust something). An example is Lightflow. You use it to adjust the colors for the LED notification. After I set it up, I don't open it anymore until the time I add another app that I want a LED notification for.
