Keyboard typing issues

I'm having issues just typing on the S8. When I press a letter I keep hitting the one next to it. I don't have fat fingers and never had a problem typing on a smaller iPhone. Is there a way to adjust the keyboard sensitivity?

I had a similar issue, downloaded Gboard and never looked back.

I'll try that. It's frustrating trying to type on the stock keyboard. My phone has some lag so that might causing the typing issues.
