Why doesn't my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 turn on?

My Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 doesn't turn on

HERE'S THE DEAL: I LIVE IN EUROPE, BOUGHT THIS THING IN US
I PLUGGED IN THE CHARGER WITHOUT THE CONVERTER SO I PRETTY MUCH LET 220 VOLTS INTO MY LITTLE TAB. NOW IT DOESN'T WORK AND I THINK I MIGHT HAVE FRIED IT. IS THERE ANY POSSIBLE WAY TO GET IT TO WORK?
I plug the charger in and everything is normal, i get the charging icon and when i try to turn it on i get the samsung logo, it flashes etc THEN IT SHUTS DOWN AGAIN.
It used to actually turn on before and work for about a couple of minutes, then it shut down again. BUT NOW IT DOESN'T WANNA DO THAT EITHER! HAAALP

Brother try to get it replaced or just make sure if power button is working

Oh maybe it is BRICKED! DO NOT TRY TO BECOME AN EXPERT! Just take it to shop...

Was there no converter in the cable.

Was it pre-owned and you had seen it working before.
