Best Deal with skyrocket

hi, wondering what kind of deals are people getting.

The best i have heard is galaxy tab 8.9 LTE ( no data, out the door) with free skyrocket plus data plan.
Because of a loop hole?

Anyone had this deal?
if so, which part of the country?

it seems like they are really trying to push the units out...

Yes I got this deal in northeast Pennsylvania last weekend. Went it to get a Skyrocket came out with both for $489.00 - seemed like a good deal. To get the deal you need to take data plan for both the Skyrocket and the Tablet for 2 years.

I got the skyrocket and 8.9 tab for 440.00 out the door in southeast PA

Sold my xoom and iphone 4 for a total of 700 bucks. so for me it's a personal victory

I can say for the most part i'm happy about the decision... only thing i'm not happy with is it seems the 8.9 from AT&T is a little bloated with worthless crap which makes the device a little sluggish sometimes...

Tried the root method on xda for the 8.9 LTE tablet. Easy as making toast, literally.

Took off the bloatware and apps that i'll never use, put on ADW launcher ex, and the thing runs great!

I got the wifi model @ Best Buy for $399. Didn't need.a new data plan since T-mobile let's me hotspot my phone for free. Anxiously awaiting ICS upgrade, tho.

I really wanted to get this deal, but I didn't pull the trigger because I really want the Samsung Galaxy Note when it comes out. So instead, I bought the 8.9 lte brand new on eBay for $420, so now I can use my upgrade on the Note when it comes out.

At Best Buy but I just checked and it is back up to $449 now which is stupid because that is the same price as the 10 inch.

Yea, but the difference is that best buy has a sale on the 10 incher. Besides that, I think all the versions at best buy are wifi only.
