Can't delete some photos and screen shots on tab s 10.5

When I pull up the gallery and click on a particular photo or screen shot, I should be able to get rid of it by clicking on the trash icon at the upper right of the screen. The problem is that the trash icon is only present on selected items. For example, I had 10 screen shots and 7 photos I wanted deleted but only a total of 5 had the trash icon displayed. All the other icons were present ( note, etc) just the trash can is missing. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe a complete restart will change their status and allow deleting. You could also try hooking it up with usb cable to a computer and see if you can gain access and delete that way. Good luck.
