Debit Card transactions

New to Samsung Pay. Had 4 transactions today. 3 were as debit (had to enter pin) and one as visa. Only the visa one shows under points and history. First time had used this way. Do the debit card ones not show up on app where we get points from those transactions or does it have to be as a visa/mc, etc?
