questions concerning Boost Replenish over air update

Android noob with a Boost Replenish here.

I'm getting a system update message just saying there is an important update and it calls it "FB03". Currently I'm on 2.3.6 / Gingerbread.EK03.

Since there is no information about this provided other than it is 'important' I was wondering a few things about it:

Can I revert back if I install CWM and make a backup before doing the update?

Can I just stop the update message from showing?

Also where does the phone store the downloaded update?

Yes you can revert back from a cwm backup
Yes you can stop the update message by editing build.prop
The phone stores the update in /cache
