Samsung (direct from them): Note 8 Pre-Order Thread

Funny but I still have two Note7 (no I'm not using them lol). I was thinking of calling Samsung and asking if they would honor the trade-in offer still. I mean it's the phone that the whole offer is based around... Anybody already ask?

Sam's Club Note 7 Recall Thread

My sams club experience has been horrible to say the least. It was my first phone purchase there ($150 is a good chunk of change to pass up)...but this will be my absolute last. I realize none of this is their fault and I in no way blame them for the exploding phone. However, for those that...

*New* Root Method - One Click

First let me say that I take no credit for this method in any way. Chainfire over at XDA has created a small apk to address the recently discovered kernel exploit vulnerability. In doing so, he created a one click method that injects SuperSu using that very same vulnerability. The intended...

    Root achieved! !

Just FWIW...people on XDA are reporting that the build.prop will only hold 240dpi (supposed to be 267dpi) Not a huge issue if you really need root now. Im sure things will get polished over the next few days though. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Android Central Forums

    Blocking Mode Removed

I know what you mean. I was hoping to use Blocking Mode until root was obtained so I can use "Root Call Blocker Pro" . I use that now on my Thunderbolt and it is perfect.

    Blocking Mode Removed

From what I can tell, Verizon has removed the "Blocking Mode" (Do Not Disturb) from their version of the Note 2. May not be an issue for some, but it is a great feature.

    How Soon Until Root?

From what I have seen in other GN2 forums, rooting and keeping it stock (which we will have to do anyways until a leak/unlock is available) will not have any effect on the s-pen functionality since rooting will not motify TW.

    How Soon Until Root?

Ok, please don't shoot me for brining up a root question...but I've been doing a lot of searching here and on XDA and haven't really found my answer. I am a current day one Thunderbolt owner. Rooted, unlocked, and running BAMF. Loved how soon after launch it was to obtain. I have preordered...

Which cases or skins is everybody using?

I got my TF300 at Best Buy a couple weeks ago. They didnt have any cases for it when I was there. I stopped in again a couple days ago and picked up a really nice leather folio case by Targus. It is actually listed for the TF Prime 10.1 but the TF300 fits like a glove. Its very soft leather...

Rooting will open up your tablet to a world of mods and will truly allow it to reach its full potential. However, there are cautions associated with rooting if you are not familar with at least the basics of what it actually is. You can "brick" your tab and make it a $379 paper weight. Read...
