I just don't understand why someone would buy a beautiful $650 phone and then put a case like this on it. It is now bulky and looks like any other phone out there. To each his own I guess.

Well I had the exact opposite experience. I sent back 2 A7's due to very poor cell data download speeds. I also checked the signal and my A7 always showed -129dbm. Reactivated my HTC One M7 and same network shows -91 on the M7. Some of the A7's definitely have problems.

No it didn't. All the update did is add more bars to the phone. There are even more people now in the ZTE forum complaining of poor cellular signals and poor download speeds. Myself included. I bought 2 A7's and both went back due to poor camera and extremely poor cell receptions.

And there are also many people on the ZTE forums still complaining about poor cellular signals and that the update did absolutely nothing except make the phone have more bars.

It can happen. I reinstalled an app that worked on my HTC One M7 onto my Axon A7. The app constantly crashed the A7. It was the only app out of about 15 or so that gave me any trouble.

I noticed the poor camera in low light also. Luckily I didn't have the other problems. I did have 1 app that would crash the software every single time I tried to install it. Fox Football Friday Night was a good app. But just crashes the A7 so it had to go.

ZTE isn't saying. They are really good at teasing with "update coming soon" messages and then disappearing.

Too bad that most music players don't play nice with the Axon 7's Dolby settings. The stock player works fine though but I don't like it.

ZTE has stated that if they ever do unlock the bootloader the warranty would still be 2 years.

They said there is an announcement coming this week. They never said the unlocked bootloader would be announced this week.

I pre ordered the gray Axon 7 from Newegg and will get the Monster head phones too. The Axion 7 is the phone I was hoping HTC would release this year but didn't. Plus it is $300 cheaper than the HTC 10. Sorry HTC. I have been a customer all the way back to the Hero but you let me down with the 10.
