Hate it. Since I upgraded I can no longer receive incoming calls. Battery life is worse. Next time I'll wait for the dust to settle before an upgrade.

Great! Unfortunately my phone would no longer get incoming calls. The only way I would know if someone called me was if they left a voicemail. Didn't matter if phone was screen on or asleep. Replacement phone should be here today so I'll see if that helps.

Update: the Fi app fix didn't hold and I'm back to no incoming calls. I'll be contacting them again since they gave me a case number. I'll update after I speak with them.

Contacted Google about this and after some basic trouble shooting the connected me with Project Fi support. Fi had me delete the cache and storage from the Fi app and reregister. Reboot after reregistering. It has helped so far. I'm receiving calls whether the screen is on or off or locked...

Don't forget the Pixel camera is outstanding! That said from your list of likes above sounds like you've made your decision. I don't think you can make a bad choice, but it seems like the S9+ might be best for you.

I went to a Verizon store and tried the Note 8 for size and man is it tall! I'm 6'2" with large hands and I found it difficult to one hand it. The S pen is cool, but I think the S9+ is as tall as I would like to go.
