    Email app recommendations?

Another vote for 9! Just be aware that nine does not support Gmail at this time (think they stated that it is slated in the future though) so if you're looking for an app that supports both Exchange and gmail, Nine won't do it yet.

I'm leaving the Galaxy S6 Edge+ for the iPhone

Here you go...one of many ways: Samsung Smart Switch™: Transfer Contacts, Music & More I've used it for friends to transfer data from iPhone to Samsung and it transfers everything. I've used to to move from android phone to android phone when switching devices and it transferred everything...

    32 or 64 GB

I bought the 128GB because I tend to use up a lot of memory with music, movies, videos, picture taking etc.....I don't have unlimited data on my cell plan. For you, you could always get the 32GB model and buy this later on as a backup...

I'm leaving the Galaxy S6 Edge+ for the iPhone

There are just as many iPhone users that complain about the iPhone's battery life as there are Android users complaining about Android phones. It's all on how you use the phone you have. I know iPhone 6S+ users at work who live by the charger at their desks because of the horrid battery life...

Gmail stopped syncing or other odd push notification issues? Read here...

I specifically cleared the Google Framework Services data within the app section. The same issues that the Google Engineer stated would/could happen in that Reddit post happened to me. The Cache and Data are two different things. Cache is where temporary data is stored (non important) that...

Win10 not detecting my Nexus 6P as a Mass Storage Device.. can't transfer files. What should I do?

Re: Win10 not detecting my Nexus 6P as a Mass Storage Device... can't transfer files When you plug your phone in you need to do two things: 1. Unlock your phone once while it's plugged in. If it's locked when you plug it in, it won't be able to access any files. You don't have to keep...

I'm leaving the Galaxy S6 Edge+ for the iPhone

If you're using an app to kill off other apps, there's a big battery waster right there and it's not suggested you kill apps off as well. Once Marshmallow hits the Device with Doze (and if Samsung doesn't muck it up), battery life should go through the roof. I have a Nexus 6P (you really...

Gmail stopped syncing or other odd push notification issues? Read here...

I wanted to share my experience with everyone with some of the odd issues I was having with my phone. Just recently a lot of my apps were not notifying me of new messages, most importantly, Gmail would either not notify me of new email or I would receive the notification 4 hours after the email...

    How to de-crypt the phone?

The only benefit I see of decryption the phone, and it's really not a big benefit, is that your phone will boot up from a power down/restart faster. Having an encrypted phone secures your data especially after wiping the phone.

Nexus 6P - Android 6.0.1 Rolling Out Starting Today

Yeah well, as test I tried it just now, from what I noticed, Google play got screwed up after I cleared the data on the Framework and rebooted the phone. To fix it I had to clear the data on the Play store services to get it to work again so there is truth in that post. Can't wait to see what...

Decisions - Nexus 6P or Samsung Note 5

Re: Nexus 6P or Note 5? There are a bunch of other music and video apps on the Playstore that are better than any of the proloaded apps from manufactures. For video, try VLC, it's a really good video player...

My 3rd 6P RMA, Anyway to Restore ALL Phone Data?

So, when you move onto something else, do you then wait for the glitch/problems to be fixed on that something else you want to move onto and if it isn't fixed, move on again? In the tech field, there are no perfect devices and if you're waiting for a flawless one, you're going to have a very...

My 3rd 6P RMA, Anyway to Restore ALL Phone Data?

You could try Samsungs switch: How to use Samsung Smart Switch | Android Central I've used it and it works pretty good, transferring everything down to my call logs, just make sure that both phones are plugged in. I'm curious as to why you had to exchange your phone so many times? I only...

    6P on Verizon

I am using it with Voice and Data. You need to enable that option (free) on your account, Enhanced LTE or something, call them and ask them to enable it or log into your online account. Once you have it enabled on Verzions side, go to Settings -> Cellular network and turn on "Enahnced 4G LTE Mode".

    Nexus 6P vs iPhone 6s

Re: Nexus 6p or IPhone 6s Plus Speaking of a slower cold boot between the two phones, I think the issue is that the 6P has the phone encrypted out of the box (it sets it up automatically on first setup) which will cause a slower boot up. I'm not sure is the iPhone is encrypted out of the box...

Very disappointed with the Nexus 6P

It's not just the 6P, I talk to others who are on other phones, like a Galaxy S5 and some iPhone users, that have the same issue. They sound muffled and then when they adjust their phones, it comes in clear. It isn't an issue with the phone being too big, it's the issue that when the...
