Thanks drtrask! I was figuring I needed to get a 3rd party app for this. Just slightly bummed that Motorola (Google) didn't notice this. Every phone I've had in the past either silences the phone media when I change to vibrate or they had ringer profiles to set up. One little let down...

Is there any way to set up ringer profiles? I have noticed that the phone/media sounds aren't silenced when switching to vibrate. Anyone else noticing this or know how to correct? Usually it's pretty intuitive on most phones. I'm feeling stupid right now.

If it has Gingerbread (which it most likely does), you can't root it yet. Unless something major has changed in just the last couple days, you have to be able to achieve S-Off first. That just hasn't happened yet. Keep your eyes to the skies.

I'm experiencing this too. I haven't pinned down if its all notifications or not, but I've noticed it on texts. I have double checked in the text settings and notification settings, I have vibrate on in both areas. I've toggled them on and off, no change. Toggled, restarted and still...

I would say keep calling their 800 number until you get a rep that is sympathetic to you situation. I would just keep telling them that the ED05 release still didn't fix your phone. I'm shocked that I had zero issue today and had all 3 phones offered to me free of charge.

I just switched today since they will give me the Inc2 for the rest of the year and then I get my normal upgrade early 2012. Win-win for me. I wasn't actually having trouble with my Fassy though...just wanted a newer phone. My mom's Fassy, wow...that thing was garbage compared to mine.

Just swapped out my Fascinate for an Inc2. My mom was having trouble with her phone, mine was working fine, but I decided to get a new one as well since I still will get an upgrade in June 2012 (if the world doesn't end). We don't have 4g in our area and won't be here till next year anyway...
