Need help please !!! Getting my boost setting back on phone

Can you go back to the person/company from which it was purchased? They may be able to help. Short of that, you have a long road ahead to restore the settings to make it functional again ... I assume all your calls are no longer working, correct? Does the phone even have your number programmed?

"The Process android.process.acore has stopped" error

Strange outbreak of this problem, no? I fixed the problem on my Samsung Epic by installing Go Contacts...

How are Sprint customers taking advantage of unlimited data?

Funny story here: Recently upgraded the wife's phone to an EVO-3D from an HTC Diamond. Apparently she likes it a lot and still listens to the Pandora Christmas music stream while out walking, and her data usage is up 500% to ~350MB per month. All this with just a 3G connection. No decent 4G...

    Which pocket?

Perhaps. But ever since I started packing a smartphone in 2001, I've managed to father 3 very healthy kiddos! I suspect not much in the way of ill effects.

    Which pocket?

Ditto. If anything else ever does go there, it feels completely out-of-place and will bother me until removed.

Super cool things of the unknown!

Although not terribly Sci-Fi worthy, my Android can help with the occasional WiFi reconnaissance mission: Wigle: https://market.android.com/details?id=net.wigle.wigleandroid#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDIxMiwibmV0LndpZ2xlLndpZ2xlYW5kcm9pZCJd It can also control your network connected Pioneer stereo...

Easiest way to increase battery life - Undervolt

I like the idea a lot ... still, can you quantify how much battery savings you actually see as a result of undervolting? Not throwing stones here; not trolling. I undervolt my Samsung Epic but that's only part of my battery extending strategy. Thoughts? Ideas? Data?

Are you using a power manager like Juice Defender?

+1 for Llama. For starters it's free, and the author blogs about and updates the app frequently. One thing I do is turn off the Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G data, account sync and GPS between 12 midnight and 6:30AM. All calls and texts still work during this period, but it saves my battery a ton. Llama...

Does pentile make the screen not truly HD?

I'm rather enjoying the philosophical side @Poopai has offered here. For once, *ONCE*, someone with a clear head, complex sentence construction, and decent grammar has offered the rest of us some thoughtful advice - on a technical forum no less. Rock on!

    Who has the best plan/price...

Saving on your bills takes persistence and hard work, frankly. It may not be your cup of tea. Hopefully I don't ruffle feathers by posting this link to another forum, but this has been very helpful in my dealings with Sprint: Up to 27% discount on your current sprint bill - PPCGeeks Cheers!

Let's get an app list going...

Do not forget Llama from the app store. Great app that can detect and trigger events based on the cell tower your phone is locked to. It can auto-magically turn on/off WiFi and nearly any other setting in Android.

    Who has the best plan/price...

Two lines of unlimited 3G data, 500 minutes per line, 300 text messages, evenings 7pm, and still clinging to my original SERO F&F plan with 27% company discount. Just paid the November bill: $64.62

Juice defender; A good or bad application for your device?

Juice Defender worked great on my stock Epic ROM, but then I rooted, and flashed to SFR 1.2 with Genocide 2.0 kernel and haven't needed JD since. However, I have friends that do not care to root/flash and they report good results with JD.
