Wife just got update today on VZW. I updated in ODIN to DTA4, will I get the DTAA OTA, or will I need to push thru ODIN again. Or does someone have the update I can flash thru the SD card?

Ok, got all that figured out. I just force stop accessibility and it stays away. I was trying to figure out your earlier post stating an easier way. I have the notification off, but didn't understand the one touch you referred to. I think I am good now.

Right, but turning that on gets the floating menu, I was calling it a widget, sorry.

The OP was asking about the tap to answer option. You circled the easy on screen option that turns on the screen. That doesn't do the tap to answer. I have those same options.

I thought Samsung pushed the same build to all the Carriers. I am on CSE5. If I flashed the AT&T is it possible to get the tap to answer back in the Interaction and Dexterity menu under Answer Phone?

To get the tap to answer, you have to turn on the assistant widget. I have not found another way yet on the Note 9. I am on a VZW Note 9.

Turning off the "show notifications" only takes it out of the drop down bar, it doesn't keep the floating widget from showing up. I have to kill the floating widget in apps by doing a force stop on accessibility after a restart. It stays gone until the next restart.

You can also download the app Network Cell Info Lite. On the device + Sim tab, it will show if WiFi calling is active. I use this daily at work. It typically is not active when I first get there and have to restart the phone and it will be active.

Agree, that is why I stated VZW for the complaint. Not that I expect to get a resolution, but if I do, I will share.

I did a search in the settings menu with no luck prior to my post. I did it again after seeing the exact naming of the function, it is gone. That is too bad. Guess I will put in a complaint with VZW since it appears their software version is the one to have it removed. Thanks for the replies.

I just got the latest update from VZW today. I am now missing the touch to answer feature that I had turned on. I am pretty sure It used to be in the accessibility menu. Has anyone else noticed it gone after the update?

Are you referring to the feature when you lift the phone to your ear and it calls the contact you have open? If so: Advanced Features, Motion and Gesture, Direct Call

Download Good Lock, the feature is in there along with other mods you can do.

I had not had any Bluetooth issues until today. I am on CSB3 on VZW. I upgraded from CSAA. Today, all of my Bluetooth devices were deleted. I have to set them and the smart locks up again. Hope this is a fluke.
