So I had been waiting for my Linkmount (Home) for a while. It was a Kickstarter campaign that took a long time to get delivered. Received in earlier this week. Pretty nifty device. Its combines a kickstand and mount into one device. Had plans to use it on my Z3, but switched to a Z5C but they deleted the magnetic charging port which was an intergal part of my plan. I really liked the fact that I didn't have to stick the micro usb connector into the Z3 by using the Sony dock. The new Z5 series dock has the micro-usb connector sticking up in the dock which means it becomes more difficult to place in the dock without being able to see what you're doing (in the dark). Undeterred, I found this:

Armed with my 3D printer, I decided to make my own desk and car docks. In the case of the car dock, I also used a Proclip mounting base for my car.
