attempting to "update firmware"

when i try to update my firmware (trying to look for the update to download), it turns off all connectivity to the phone (3g, 4g, and wifi) then attempts to "search" for the update, then tells me no update available. then the radios come back on. im thinking it might be hard to find an update with no connectivity. anyone else experience the same behavior?

The update hasn't been pushed to all devices, I was told by Samsung & Sprint. I havent recv'd yet either. Groups of ESNs done at a time.

got a popup this morning on my way to work to update. Installed with no problem.

Update

Updated this AM, on restart got Firmware update error. Turns off 3g data and wifi when checking. Can't even update Vision Profile or PRL's and of course can't do firmware update either. Looking for a solution on backing to previous revision like PreDoctor, but for Epic.

I went to update Android & it began updating, but it's taking a long time (about 10min). I'm hoping this is related to the traffic rather than my phone beeing "stuck." I'll just be a little more patient.
