I've been getting a "sign-in error" for my account all day today. I'm unable to sign back in whether I'm on WiFi or 3G. It hasn't affected my Google apps, everything works as normal. Any ideas?

I'm on Are You Jellin M4 rom

Edit: it is affecting my Google now function.

Any ideas foe a solution? I tried fixing my permissions in ROM manager but that's not helping.

It's on multiple devices on multiple carriers. So I'm guessing Google's servers are down

Google Now is not working, most believe the issue is attributed to Google Search.

Well then I'm baffled. I hear small reports of Chrome not working, but those are few compared to the griping about Google Now not working.

I was getting the error on my Nexus 7. Disabling the currents sync solved it for me. Hope it helps.
