wifi keeps reconnecting

Hi! [: I have a problem with my wifi. It'll keep reconnecting and disconnecting endlessly (within seconds disconnect and reconnect again..). The very last thing I did was download wifi file transfer, not sure if this has anything to do with it. I deleted the app and nada. I've tried taking out the battery, shutting off wifi and turing it back on, resetting the router, messing with the wifi settings, switching to airplane mode. I downloaded a wifi fixer app, and that worked for like a second, then poof again. Nothing else worked so I factory reset it, and it still didn't fix the problem..? Is there anything else I can do..?

On your phone, forget the router settings, then re-connect.

Try changing the router's security settings--from WEP to WPA or vice-versa, from AES to TKIP or vice-versa.

Try turning off the router security altogether (but don't leave it off--only while testing).
