New Icon in Gallery?

I love the updates to Android and the apps, but finding detailed help on functionality is difficult, unless I just suck . There's a lot of stuff within the OS that I just don't know how to use or that I don't even know is there.

My Sprint SIII updated a while ago to a new version of 4.1.2, and I noticed a new icon in the Gallery and Video app. Can anyone tell me what this does? Also, is there a place I can find detailed info about how Android apps work and what all the icons do/mean?

Press the Icon and see what happens.
It isn't going to blow your phone up.

Take a picture, open the picture, press the Icon.
Let us know what happened.

That icon also allows you to send a picture to your TV.
