Phone unlock settings

Prior to updating the software on the phone, anytime I took the phone off the charger, it would wake up immediately. Now when I take the phone off the charger, the screen is still off and I have to press the power button to wake the phone up and then swipe the screen to unlock it. Was the wakeup function changed in 4.3?

Probably. Many people seemed to think the automatic wakeup was a bug. Personally, I liked it, but the custom ROM I'm using doesn't do it either.

I don't have 4.3 so I can't say for sure, but I'd guess that there's a setting for that.
