Wireless Storage Question

When I connect to wireless storage I have the option to type in an address that is a string of numbers or text that I customized. However, when I type in the text that I customized it won't pull up. Can anyone tell me why that is?

I have the LG G-pad 8.3 which has the same LG wifi storage option but its for access to the tablets memory from wifi not to access remote storage through wifi.

I think I might have found a work around. I needed to map this as a network drive. However it's odd that when you turn on wireless storage and swipe down the screen it says you can type in either address but the one doesn't work
