$350 on contract is completely ridiculous. Thankfully I have a full upgrade and was planning on going for their new One Up program otherwise I wouldn't even contemplate this.
But don't you have to pay $199 + $21 x 24 for yours aka $700+ (full retail)? I'm not happy about the Sprint pricing, but I have unlimited for $50/month and will pay half for the same device.

Yes.
But.. With T-mobile Jump you can upgrade to a new phone in 6 months. So $21 a month plus $10 month for jump that is 31x6= $385. In 6 months Note 3 costs me $385 and then I can get a new phone. Sprint wants close to that price just to start.
Absolutely ridiculous.
