go in turn on gps and wifi. then go to appmarket get the GPS Samsung restore app and fowwow the directions from there. 3 steps make sure to go outside to get a accurate fix, with in 1 meter and ur done. It makes the only problem with captivate that theres no flash for camera but there is no app for that untiil captivate 2 comes out. "I paly the jazzaphone with my feet."

If you want a fix to your GPS, Root your phone, backup your data, then install Cezars Continuum, the JK4 modem and you are done...and running FroYo 2.2.1

I just never updated my google maps and my GPS works fine, im just tired of the bugs and the FC of the messaging app, I think Im switching to that HTC inspire. I have had much better luck with HTC phones than samsung.
