Just trying to do a little research. Where I work we use a piece of software that has the ability to limit access based off of the OS version and model of your phone. We're currently having a problem with the AT&T Note 2 phones passing the compliance check. According to the software vendor the model number of this phone is supposed to be SGH-i317. The model number that shows up on the phone is SAMSUNG-SGH-i317. The software vendor is stating that the version of the Note 2 that we have is a prototype model.

If everyone doesn't mind, can you report the model of your AT&T Note 2? You can find it by going to settings, About Device.
Thanks!

So yours actually says SGH-i317 and isn't preceeded by SAMSUNG? Thanks.

I was under the assumption that Samsung was the manufacturer and SGH i317 was the model, but yes, it says Samsung first. :D

Thanks. I appreciate the clarification. That matches what AT&T told me.

I'm using this to push back on the application vendor to fix their stuff.
