It may be years worth of iPhone usage, but I am a little shocked that in the contacts app, there isn't a Birthday tab to fill out. Or am I overlooking something?

Under a contact look at events and you can add birthday as a event and then put the birthday in.

Do a little research, you may be suprised at just how much apple has patented everything about ios. little things like this may be included. It does seem strange to me as well and this is what i came up with.
