New to android MMS Question

This is my first android phone coming from 3 previous Iphones and am loving the change so far. one question I have is it normal that all MMS that I receive show up as a video with a play button on it? Not really a big deal just seems strange.

Apparently it is for certain Android phones. I asked last week and didn't get a fix. Weird for sure.

Kind of wondering the same thing, doesn't really make sense if someone sends me a single photo that I'd need to press play.

It's the same way on mine. Doesn't affect too much and you can still download the pic and view it that way, but it's definitely a bug I'd like to see fixed.

It started doing that on my aria when I put in froyo. Its annoying and sucks to hear its on the sg2 also.

Question: Is it still slow to send texts and pics? It takes 2 secs to send from my work blackberry tour. But about 8 secs on my aria.
